1968 yılında Karabük’te doÄŸan Prof. Dr. Gürkan Öztürk, 1993 yılında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nden mezun oldu. Akademik kariyerine Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi’nde baÅŸlayan Öztürk, bu fakültenin kuruluÅŸ aÅŸamasında 25 milyon dolarlık altyapı projesini hazırlayarak kurumsal geliÅŸime öncülük etti.
Doktora eÄŸitimini 1995-1999 yılları arasında dünyanın en saygın kurumlarından King’s College London’da (Ä°ngiltere) Fizyoloji alanında tamamladı. Türkiye’ye dönüÅŸünün ardından, 2001 yılında kurduÄŸu Sinirbilim Merkezi ile on yıl boyunca nörobilim alanında üst nitelikli araÅŸtırmalara imza attı.
2010 yılında Ä°stanbul Medipol Üniversitesi’nin kuruluÅŸ kadrosuna davet edilen Prof. Dr. Öztürk, burada "Rejeneratif ve Restoratif Tıp AraÅŸtırmaları Merkezi" (REMER) ve "SaÄŸlık Bilim ve Teknolojileri AraÅŸtırma Enstitüsü" (SABÄ°TA) gibi Türkiye'nin önde gelen araÅŸtırma merkezlerini kurdu. Aynı zamanda Uluslararası Tıp Fakültesi'nin Kurucu Dekanlığı görevini üstlendi.
Åžubat 2024 itibarıyla Bolu Abant Ä°zzet Baysal Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Dekanı olarak görev yapan Öztürk; nöron hasarı, dejenerasyon ve rejeneratif süreçler üzerine yoÄŸunlaÅŸmaktadır. Özellikle canlı hücre görüntülemesi ve ileri mikroskopi teknikleri konusundaki uzmanlığıyla tanınan Öztürk’ün uluslararası literatürde 70’e yakın bilimsel makalesi bulunmaktadır.
Bilim insanı kimliÄŸinin yanı sıra profesyonel bir yaban hayatı fotoÄŸrafçısı olan Prof. Dr. Gürkan Öztürk, evli ve üç çocuk babasıdır.

Lisans eÄŸitimini Fırat Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi'nde tamamlayan Prof. Dr. Akif Hakan Kurt, akademik uzmanlığını Tıp alanında derinleÅŸtirmiÅŸtir. Uzmanlık ve doktora eÄŸitimini 2012 yılında Mersin Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Tıbbi Farmakoloji Anabilim Dalı'nda tamamlayarak bilim doktoru ünvanını almıştır.
Akademik kariyerine KahramanmaraÅŸ Sütçü Ä°mam Üniversitesi'nde devam ettikten sonra Bolu Abant Ä°zzet Baysal Üniversitesi kadrosuna katılan Dr. Kurt, 2023 yılında Profesörlük ünvanını almıştır.
Temel araÅŸtırma alanları arasında kanser biyolojisi, nöron ve mezenkimal kök hücre kültürü çalışmaları yer almaktadır. Moleküler farmakoloji alanındaki derin birikimini güncel teknolojilerle birleÅŸtiren Prof. Dr. Kurt; özellikle ilaç geliÅŸtirme süreçlerinde yapay zekanın rolü üzerine vizyoner bir bakış açısına sahiptir.

Halen BAÄ°BÜ Tıp Fakültesi Tıbbi Farmakoloji Anabilim Dalı'nda öÄŸretim üyesi olarak görev yapmakta ve AbanTCon'26 Bilim Kurulu'nda yer almaktadır.

Mesleki geliÅŸim ve sosyal aÄŸ kurma konusunda aktif olan Dönmez, 2018 yılından bu yana EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF CARDIOLOGY (ESC) ve 2017 yılından beri TÜRK KARDÄ°YOLOJÄ° DERNEĞİ üyesidir. Alanındaki en güncel tekniklere hakim olmak adına uluslararası ve ulusal sertifika programlarına katılmıştır; bunlar arasında Atriyal Fibrilasyon Cryobalon EÄŸitimi (Medtronic - Cryotherapy Training Program) , Kardiyak Resenkronizasyon Kursu (CRT-D) ve Periferik Vasküler GiriÅŸim Kursu yer almaktadır.

Tayibe Bal Kimdir ?
1983 yılında Sofya’da dünyaya geldi. 2008 yılında Dokuz Eylül Tıp Fakültesinde lisans eÄŸitimini, 2017 yılında Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesinde Enfeksiyon Hastalıkları ve Klinik Mikrobiyoloji ABD’nda uzmanlık eÄŸitimini tamamladı. Ocak 2021’de aynı klinikte doçentlik ünvanını aldı. Evli ve 2 çocuk annesidir. Uzmanlık eÄŸitimi yıllarında biyoistatiÄŸe olan ilgisi onu Python ve R programlama dilleriyle tanıştırmıştır. Enfeksiyon Hastalıklarında makine öÄŸrenmesi modelleri geliÅŸtirmekte, saÄŸlık alanında yapay zeka uygulamaları ile ilgili derlemeler yazmakta ve seminerler vermektedir.
